MS GROUP — Telecom, Underground Cable & HDD Contractors, Bhubaneswar
Patrapada · Bhubaneswar, Odisha

We take the network underground — and bring it back without a trace.

MS GROUP lays telecom and electric cable, executes pipeline work, and runs Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crossings for utility, government and private contracts across Bhubaneswar.

What we do

Full-scope underground infrastructure work

From the first survey peg to final surface restoration, MS GROUP handles every stage of telecom, power and pipeline installation.

Telecom Cable Laying

Underground OFC and telecom duct installation for network operators, from route planning through splicing-ready ducting.

Fibre / Duct

Underground Electric Cable

LT/HT power cable laying with proper depth, bedding and marker tape as per utility standards.

LT / HT Cable

HDD — Horizontal Directional Drilling

Trenchless bores under roads, rail lines and built-up areas — for cable and pipe crossings without cutting the surface.

Trenchless

Pipeline Work

Underground pipeline laying and jointing for water, gas and utility ducting projects of varying diameter.

Utility Pipe

Route Survey & Planning

Utility mapping and bore-path planning to identify existing crossings before a single trench is opened.

Pre-work

Trenching & Restoration

Open-cut trenching where needed, followed by backfill and surface reinstatement to original condition.

A crossing, drawn the way our crews see it underground

Horizontal Directional Drilling lets us route cable and pipe beneath roads and existing utilities without opening the surface — this is the same cross-section our teams plan before every bore.

A drill head enters at a shallow angle from the entry pit, tracks a curved path beneath the road and any existing utilities, and surfaces at the exit pit — where cable, duct or pipe is pulled back through the bore.

How a project runs

Four stages, start to backfill

01 / SURVEY

Site & utility mapping

We walk the route, mark existing cable, pipe and duct crossings, and confirm access for rigs and machinery.

02 / PLAN

Bore & trench planning

Depth, entry/exit points and method — open-cut or HDD — are fixed against the site survey and client spec.

03 / EXECUTE

Drilling & cable laying

Crews carry out the bore or trench and lay telecom, electric or pipeline material to the planned route.

04 / RESTORE

Backfill & handover

Surface is reinstated, the route is documented, and the site is handed back in working condition.

Why MS Group

Local crews, underground discipline

01

Based in Patrapada, working across Bhubaneswar

On-ground local knowledge of routes, soil conditions and local authority requirements.

02

Telecom, power and pipeline under one crew

No handoffs between separate contractors — survey, drilling, laying and restoration in one scope.

03

HDD for sensitive crossings

Trenchless boring where cutting a road, footpath or built-up surface isn't an option.

04

Site restored, not just laid

Backfill and surface reinstatement is part of the job, not an afterthought.

MS GROUP / FIELD NOTE
Underground work is judged by what you don't see once it's finished — a clean line, a settled surface, a network that just works.
